What I Offer 🐾
Home based business, offering one on one grooming sessions that focus on positive sessions that allow your pet to build a positive bond with myself and learn to trust the process of the grooming in its self.
Weather its your Puppy's first Grooming session and needing that first introduction or your senior dog needing a modified session based on comfort opposed to a "perfect trim " or your rescue that requires TLC to re-build a trusting relationship with their groomer
Im here to answer all your questions, take in all information about your dogs needs medically and emotionally and provide my grooming service's with over 20 years experience as a professional groomer, vet assisting background. As well as being a pet momma, with much research and knowledge in canine genetics and dietary/supplements.
Your dog will have all my attention for the duration of their appointment that ranges from 30min-2.5 hours depending on the breed, cut and condition of their coat.

Colour / Gems Starting $20.00Teeth-Brushing oral care package $30.00 - Includes a thorough brushing of each individual tooth, and you go home with a personalized sized toothbrush, full size puppy polish toothpaste, and a dental fresh breath treat.
If you bring along your toothpaste and toothbrush to the next grooming session it’s only $10.00 for added thorough brushing at next visit.
I also offer JUST nail trimming for $25.00 and if you have multiple dogs coming in for just a nail trim at the same time I offer a discount at only $20.00 each.

Putting Your Pet First 🐾
Regardless of your pet’s breed, age or behaviour, each of my services can be curated to fit their specific needs, no matter how unique.
Type of cuts :
Puppy cut - shorter but still fluffy
Summer Shave down - short not fluffy
Breed cut or specialty cut
Please note because I focus on positive grooming sessions I do NOT do any de-matting as this type of work presents a negative experience, if matted I recommend a summer shave down and start over. I can offer you advice on home tools and techniques and set you up for regular professional grooming sessions every 4-6 weeks to maintain a longer coat mat free.
Matted dogs are subject to a $20.00 blade fee on top of their grooming due to the amount of dulling a blade gets due to clipping through a matted coat.

Finding the right groomer for your fur-baby is priceless 🎀🐾
Below are my base price points based on breed as a general price estimate. There are several factors that finalize a price such as breed, size, type of cut, condition of their coat, age and behaviour.
I do request that you email or text me a current photo along with information about your pet, type of cut your are looking for, so I can send you a personalized estimate.
Final price point is always given at drop off when I can assess your pets coat in person.

French bulldog,English Bulldog, Pug, Yorkie, Maltese, Shih tzu, Toy & Mini Poodle, Papillon, Min Schnauzer, Boston Terrier, Westie, Corgi, Chinese Crested, Minature pintcher, Cavilier, Basset Hound,Beagal and other small/med mixes.
Starting base price : $60.00 - $120.00 +
🐾Large Dogs:
Doodle Mixes, Standard Poodles, Weimaraner, CoonHound, BloodHound, Irish/Otter wolfhound, Whippet, Boxer, American Stafford Terrier, Great Dane, Standard &Giant Snchauzer, Airedale, PitBull, Weaten Terrier, Dalmation, Old English Sheepdog, and Other Large breeds.
Starting base price : $120 - $300 +
Please Note : Due to allegories to the following type of coats I'm no Longer doing some bigger double coated dogs : Golden Retrievers, Labs, Chows, Huskies,Bernese mountain , Border collie, cocker spaniel , shepherds,Shelties,SaintBernard,Newfoundland,Akita, Samoyed, Malamute, Mastiffs.
All other breeds are welcome!🐾

Cancellation / No Show
If you need to change or cancel your booked appointment for any reason' Im very understanding and happy to adjust your appointment even if its last minute with no fee's.
If there is no communication and you No Show ' You will be subject to a $50 No Show Fee payable upon date of missed appointment and will be required to pay a deposit of 50% to reschedule. The $50 fee is taken in lou of No Show appointment and the deposit of 50% of the cost of the rescheduled appointment will go towards your next booked appointment as long as you come to your rescheduled appointment on time otherwise the deposit is taken in lou of second missed appointment.
Chelsie from bows for paws may make adjustments to the above fees to Repeat offenders of no shows and/or may refer your business elsewhere.
Payment
All services are subject to 5% GST and are rendered same day as services. Cash and E-Transfer are the only two forms of payment excepted.
Flea Free
Bows for paws is flee free salon' to avoid passing flea's to any other clients dogs. The reason for this is it takes several weeks and vet proscribed treatment to clear infestation. If any flea's are found on your dog you will be called for immediate pick up and maybe charged $25.00 solan deep clean fee - I do my best to check for fleas at drop off .
Dematt Free Solan
Under No circumstances will Chelsie from bows for paws dematt any dog for any reason' dematting is inhumane as per my beliefs and my solan focus on positive sessions only. if A shave down is needed due to matting a $20 blade fee will be added to your grooming session due to the amount of dulling of the blade clipping through a matted coat.
Chelsie from bows for paws has the right to refuse service to any pet that is in need of urgent medical attention including signs of unethical neglect and would be referred to seek immediate vet care before returning.
chelsie from bows for paws has the right to refuse service to anyone that is disrespectful or conducts them selves in a manner that causes a disturbance to Chelsie at bows for paws, other clients of hers this includes the solan and adjacent building/housing at her place of business.

Mini Buns & Nail Trim
I offer one on one limited grooming sessions for Tamed buns only. Your bunny will be the only pet in the salon during their grooming session. Please note if your bunnny is too stressed at any point the session will end for the safety and well-being of your fur-baby.
The Mini bun sessions includes brushing and comb out and Nail trim for $50.00
If molting is present extra $25-$50 on top of mini bun session depending on size of your bunny and type of coat.
I also offer just Nail trims for $25.00' if you have more then one bun coming in at the same time I offer $20.00 Nail trim each.

In House Sitting
Small Pet Drop In Pet sitting from someone you can trust
When you become a client of Chelsies bows for paws grooming you will gain an additional benefits of using my new in house small pet drop by pet sitting services available to my clients in chilliwack.
Its great for my clients that have have other small animals like cats and rabbits and are going away and need someone they can trust and know to come check up on them give them fresh water and food and give them some love and attention.
This service includes :
travel from my house to yours.
ensure your pet is ok -not in any medical distress.
Clean litter/bedding.
some fur-love min 30 min.
A few photos and video updated to you by text or email each visit.
Prices:
Minium charge $100 per visit
Or bundle and save !
Get 2 drop in visits for $160 -save $40.00
Get 3 drop in visits for $250 - save $50.00
If requested prior meet and greet charge $50.00 for 30 minutes.
Any special needs such as oral mediation or insulin shots will be subject to extra $20.00 fee on top of drop in package.

All services and expectations will be set out in a written contract and waiver of liability form must be signed.
All clients will have to leave a credit card on file at any vet of their choice in the event your pet needs emergency vet care while you are away. All owners will be responsible for any vet care that is needed.(Option of waiver to refuse medical attention can be signed at request of owner)
Im not able to take dogs as my grooming business obligations does not allow for me to be able to attend to the type of care a dogs needs so because i can not give 100% of my attention to ensure the safety and well-being a dog needs i do not offer this service.
Small animals like cats often do much better at home while owners are on vacation and my grooming schedule allows for flexibility for me to come in at designated times to ensure they are ok while you are away and what better to receive videos and pictures of me updating you with your fur baby in the comfort of their own home with some one you can trust.

This woman is amazing. We are new to BC and have had trouble finding someone for our untrusting, hyperactive, very nervous mini schnauzer. He hates everything but his body being groomed. Paws for Thought
I was born and raised in Calgary Alberta and been a BC resident for 20 years. My husband and I have a beautiful daughter and I'm a fur momma to two French Bulldogs. In my space time I enjoy fitness and hiking British Columbia's most beautiful trails and relaxing on the beach. I also enjoy attending dog parks and dog events such as the pet lovers show and pet-a-palooza as well as groomers conventions.
I have been grooming since 2005, spending my first 6 years working for other solans, before venturing out working as a vet assistant working for a few small vet practices as well as five years working in the ICU, wards, chemo and radiology at a specialist vet hospital called Canada West Vet Hospital in Vancouver. I later obtained my dental coordinator degree through CDI college as well as my radiology licence in which i'm registered through the BC Dental College and spent 6 years working in General and Paediatric dentistry.
Although I have reached many professional goals over the years my passions for animals and my joy for the art of grooming has always kept me grooming!
I truly feel blessed to be trusted and valued by all my amazing clients.

🐾 I do offer nail trimmings on weekends/no full grooming's on weekends.
🐾 Depending on my day I do offer some early evenings' I generally book first appointment at 10:00am and last appointment at 3:30pm - this does vary depending on the day and can accommodate earlier or later appointments.
I also schedule differently then most grooming solans’ I book week by week only which allows for an appointment with in a day or two 🐾

How often should my dog be groomed?
🎀Dog's should be groomed daily at home, and should be professionally every 4-6 weeks to maintain a healthy coat.
When should I bring my puppy in for their first professional grooming?
🎀As soon as your puppy has had their first three sets of vaccines (around 16 weeks old) I always recommend a first grooming to be a bath and tidy to help ease their way into the grooming process. Don't forget to start at home brushing and combing as soon as you get your puppy.🐾Your puppy must have all threee sets of vaccines before a grooming session with me
How often should my dogs nails be trimmed?
🎀For most dog every two weeks to maintain a healthy nail length. This will vary some as some dogs wear them down naturally very well while others need more regular nail trims.
